The church ruins in Trzęsacz are one of the most famous and unique attractions on the Polish coast. Atop the cliff, only a fragment of the Gothic wall of the former Church of St. Nicholas remains, gradually swallowed up by the sea due to coastal erosion.
The church was built in the Middle Ages, approximately 2 km from the shoreline. Over the years, the Baltic Sea continually eroded the cliff, until the sea began to erode the structure one by one. Today, the remains of the church stand just above the cliff, a symbol of the power of nature and the region’s history.
